ssam Cancer Care Foundation marked a

Asigni cant milestone with its 2nd Foundation
Day celebration on 28 April 2024, highlighting two
years of unwavering commitment to providing
affordable and advanced cancer care to the
people of Assam and the adjoining regions.
Commemorating the landmark occasion with
various special activities, ACCF launched the
highlight initiative - ‘Breast Cancer Screening
Kiosk’ in all the ACCF Hospitals aligning with the Felicitation of Breast Cancer Survivors at
theme for the year - “Early Detection of Breast Jorhat Cancer Centre
Cancer: Improves Outcomes”.
All the ACCF Hospitals dedicated the day to
raising awareness about early detection and
treatment, especially focusing on Breast Cancer.
The Breast Cancer Screening Kiosks in each of
the ACCF hospitals will offer free Clinical Breast
Examination (CBE) and Mammography (if
recommended) to eligible women for the rst
month, followed by a subsidized rate of 50% for
the remainder of the year. Also, facilities like on-
Cultural programme by staff at
the-spot counselling, comprehensive treatment

and support from expert oncologists will be
provided.
ACCF believes empowering women by facilitating
early detection and ensuring access to crucial
healthcare services, this initiative will surely
enhance the outcomes.

media personnel, and enthusiastic community
members along with all the hospital members
