s we celebrate our foundation day and mark the completion of
Atwo years of our cancer centres, I am lled with gratitude for the
incredible support and dedication of each member of ACCF family past
and present. In just two years our centres have grown from a vision to
reality, serving beacons of hope and healing for countless individuals
and families affected by cancer.
There could not have been a better time to join hands with all of you, as
we celebrate two years of successful completion of operations of seven
of our hospitals on April 28. I would like to congratulate all our doctors,
nurses and all supporting staff. Your hard work and dedication are truly
appreciated.
We are in the middle of an exciting time as our organisation grows and
have led the path for other states in the country. It has been a moment
of joy for all of us when the Government of India - on 27 March 2024 -
had recommended all the states to adopt Assam’s distributed cancer
care model. Let us use this as an opportunity to be proactive and work
towards achieving our long-term goals.
We need to remain resilient and stay focused on our objectives, no
matter what challenges come our way. The leadership team is here
to provide support and guidance on the journey. We are always open
to new ideas and suggestions. We recognize the value of everyone’s
contributions and participating approch to management.
On this foundation day, we have taken special initiative to alleviate the
sufferings of the women members of family through focusing on their
breast health. As a part of our celebrations, we dedicate this year on
awareness of breast cancer with the theme “Early detection of Breast
Cancer: Improves Outcome.” With the year-long campaign, we reinforce
our commitment to improve the cancer scenario in the state through
screening and early detection.
Let us keep our ethos high and continue to grow and shine in the
coming year. Let us face all challenges with courage and see even
better results.
