s we complete two years of operating seven cancer care hospitals,
Awe keep setting new benchmarks in providing affordable and
accessible cancer care and achieving new milestones. The Silchar
Cancer Centre and the expansion of State Cancer Institute at Guwahati
have been completed and were inaugurated in March 2024 by the
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in the august
presence of Shri Keshab Mahanta, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family
Welfare etc. Government of Assam and several other dignitaries.
With the commissioning of Silchar Cancer Centre and the apex centre
at State Cancer Institute Guwahati, we are closer to reaching our
commitment of establishing a network of 17 world-class cancer care
hospitals in Assam. While the construction work at Diphu is progressing
well and the hospital is expected to be completed by December 2024,
works have also commenced at Tinsukia, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Nagaon,
Dhubri and Nalbari. The land for Goalpara is still awaited.
With the learnings and feedback from our hospital operations teams,
several changes have been made to the design of our upcoming
hospitals. With these improvements, it is expected that the operational
ef ciencies will result in improved patient services and convenience.

We are committed to continuously improving our systems and
incorporating latest technologies for better product delivery and
outcomes to meet our commitment of taking world class quality cancer
care closer to patients’ home. Let us work together for a cancer free
Assam.
