Dear Readers
As we commemorate another milestone in the journey of ACCF, it gives
me immense pleasure to present to you the latest edition of essentia.
This newsletter stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment
to providing comprehensive cancer care and support to those
marginalised community for the last two years.
We dedicate this issue to the women folk who toils from kitchen to
workplace yet, ignoring their health especially – breast health. This year
we endeavour to screen for breast cancer as a yearlong theme to
detect it at an early stage.
Our aim is to alter the diagnosis ratio of early to late-stage from 30:70 to
70:30. Continuing with our endeavour, a kiosk has been set up for breast
cancer awareness and screening programme in ACCF hospitals for
women above the age of thirty. The highlights of the kiosk are Clinical
Breast Examination (CBE), Counselling and referral for mammography.
The moment has been twice as special, as I take the opportunity to
welcome Dr (Maj Gen) Jai Prakash Prasad – who has joined us in our
journey as Chief Operating Of cer. We look forward to his guidance and
under his leadership we believe in reaching new heights in healthcare.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to our vision where every
individual has equal access to quality cancer care. Together we will
continue to make a difference.
Thank you for your support and encouragement.
