Ho! Sunita it’s not a good symptom, I think it is a symptom of cancer”. By hearing that Sunita became tensed and tears rolled
down her cheeks. She thought about her family members and the financial burden she would have to encounter as she did
not have any health insurance cards. When she entered the HWC, she told the problems she faced and she was prescribed
with some medications for the current conditions. After taking the medications, she was relieved of her symptoms for few
days but soon she felt the pain again. This time she tried some herbal healings but they did not even work. After a few days,
she couldn’t imagine recovery, the treatment seems endless and the hope went far from grasp. But fate had other plans for
Sunita. One afternoon a knock came at her door. It was the community outreach team, a group of compassionate individuals
committed to support the needful. They had heard of her condition and went to help her. Their presence was a ray of hope
to her. Months later after countless appointments and therapies under the health insurance scheme, Sunita stood before
us, smiling with a optimism and victory. The relief she felt was overwhelming. Now, she is healthier than before. What she
once thought was impossible, became her reality and with a heart full of gratitude, she embraced her second chance at life,
determined to live it to the fullest.
