empowered to take preventive actions. This shift from passive to active participation is a testament to the success of our
          awareness programs, showing that when people are properly informed, they are more likely to take charge of their health and
          seek out the necessary screenings and medical help. This in turn, can save lives by detecting cancer at an earlier and more
          treatable stage.      

          Women are often provided with education on breast and cervical cancers because these types of cancer are more prevalent
          among  them.  Through  awareness  programs,  they  are  informed  about  regular  screening,  early  detection  and  preventive
          measures. During the awareness sessions, women tend to listen attentively and engage with the material understanding
          the critical role cancer screening plays in saving lives of people. This responsiveness is a positive sign that education and
          awareness efforts are making a meaningful impact in promoting better health practices in the community.  

          Being in a community level, often we witness the hardship people face such as personal issues, financial issues, emotional
          and psychological issue that can be heart -wrenching. At times, we find ourselves with tears rolling down our faces, touched
          by their struggles. However, we must remember shedding tears alone won’t help. True change comes from action, support
          and collective efforts. Here, I would like to share some inspiring and emotional success stories of cancer survivors. 

          “THE ROAD TO HEALING, SUNITA’S (NAME CHANGED) JOURNEY THROUGH CANCER.”

          Sunita has always been a vibrant woman, full of life and energy. Her journey through cancer was not at all easy. She was 46
          years old. One morning she felt a swelling, pain and changes in skin texture in her right breast. She thought it might be due to
          the monthly cycle and eventually she would get rid of it. But it increased with time. So, one day she visited the nearest HWC
          for consultation with her nephew Rohan. On her way she met her aunt and shared the problem to which her aunt replied,” O
